Bio
In many people's opinion, Garrick Michael is the most progressive DJ in the Midwest. When Garrick gets on the turntables, the crowd gets up. He was the first and longest resident DJ at Club 1427(Lincoln, Ne), and is now the entertainment director and head resident DJ for BrickTop(Lincoln, Ne :: www.thebricktop.net). A staple in the Nebraska scene for 14+ years, Garrick has steadily preyed on a countless number of dancing souls.

Garrick Michael's sets contain progressive house, electro house, breakbeat, and techno. Garrick Michael is able to seamlessly transition form style to style keeping the music interesting and the dance floor full.
Affiliations
BrickTop :: BrickTop is the dance club in the Nebraska area. Omaha and Lincoln DJs clamor for the limited number of spots to play at this popular club. BrickTop hosts an annual DJ spinoff, where area DJs compete for top prize ($1000) and acknowledgement. Garrick Michael organizes the annual DJ Spinoff. He also is in charge of booking DJs and entertainment while being a club resident himself. StrangeSounds USA :: StrangeSounds USA was an electronic
music production company serving the Lincoln and Omaha area. Founding members
included Vitally Balasanov, Garrick Michael, and Kirill Arushanov. The StrangeSounds
website was a community based website which features local area events, news,
photos, and DJ info and music. StrangeSounds USA featured many of the DJs mentioned
in BrickTop (above) as well as Lange (UK :: www.lange-music.com)
and Pulser (UK :: www.cloudwalking.com).

Phul Phunk :: Phul Phunk was an electronic music production company owned by Zach Church (Zak C). Zak C is also a resident DJ at BrickTop (Lincoln, Ne). Garrick Michael and Zak C owned and operated Lincoln's first music store solely catered to the DJ culture called Liquid Grooves. The Phul Phunk website had information about Midwest area events, photos from area events, Bar 415 (Omaha, Ne) and BrickTop. Phul Phunk has a full line of clothing featuring the Phul Phunk logo. Phul Phunk has featured DJs: Bad Boy Bill (Chicago), Christopher Lawrence (LA), Angel Alanis (Chicago), CZR (Chicago), Mazi (Chicago), Rinse(San Francisco), MC Jamalski (NYC), Justin Long & Halo (Chicago), Phantom 45 (Chicago), DJ Urban (Chicago), Mark Almaria (Chicago), Adam X (Brooklyn) and more.
